MODE OF REFUND OF FEES
 
 
 

JUNIOR COLLEGE

a) Cancellation of Admission : If a student informs the institution in writing before the commencement of the academic year that he/she wants to withdraw his/her admission and that he/she cannot continue his/her education in the college for certain reasons, the institution shall refund the Tuition fees, term fees, laboratory fees (if any) and library and laboratory deposits, if any, in full. The admission fee shall however be retained by the institution.

b) Withdrawal of Admission : If a student desires to withdraw his/her admission after the commencement of the academic year, the institution concerned shall retain the admission fee, term fee and laboratory fee (if any) in full and also the proportionate amount of the tuition fee till the end of the month in which the refund is claimed. The remaining amount of tuition fee, if any, shall be refunded along with library and laboratory deposits.

c) Refund/Withdrawal of Admission : Counter will be open from 8:30 am to 12:30 noon only on the day specified for refund.

DEGREE COLLEGE

Ordinance No: 2859, A & B

1) Before commencement of Term : All fees paid by the student at the time of admission shall be refunded to him after deduction of Rs. 10/- (Rupees ten only) as administrative charges*, if the student informs the Principal of the College/institution, in writing, before the date of commencement of the term, that he/she desires to cancel the admission.

2) Within 30 days of Commencement of Term : If a student informs the Principal of the College/Institution, in writing, within 30 days from the date of commencement of the term that he/she desires to cancel his admission, all fees shall be refunded to him/her after deduction of Rs. 30/- (rupees thirty only) as administrative charges*.

a) Administrative Charges : All fees by a student at the time of admission shall be refunded to him after deducting Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) as administrative charges, provided:-

(i) At the time of applying for admission, he/she intimates in writing, that he/she has also applied or intends to apply for admission to one or more of the professional colleges or Institute or Departments affiliated to this University which imparts instruction for Degree Courses in Engineering, Architecture, Physiotherapy, Technology, Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Unanimedicine, Homeopathy, Painting, Commercial Art, Home Science and Courses conducted by the National Defence Academy or Indian Institute of Technology or Regional Colleges of Engineering and

(ii) He/She withdraws his application in writing, within 7 days from the date of his/her admission to a professional college or a course mentioned in (i) above, but not later than 31st August of the same academic year. In such cases, it shall be binding on the student to produce documentary proof of his/her being admitted to the professional course.

b) All fees paid by the student at the time of admission shall be refunded to him/her after deducting Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty only) or all prescribed fees, whichever is less as administrative charges involved.

c) Before End of Term: If a student cancels his asmission after 30th September but before the end of the first term, a he/she will be eligible to receive by way of refund the share of tuition fee for the second term and the annual examination fee if already paid. The students will not be eligible for any refund if admission is cancelled after the end of first term.
