The Mulund College of Commerce N.S.S. Unit was established in 1971. |
| Major Activities:- |
| (1) Nine Soak Pits as designed by Krishandas Shah. |
| (2) Medical services were rendered to about 1200 villages at free of cost. |
| (3) Entertainment programmes were arranged for the villagers. |
| (4) Construction of roads & preparation of the school playgrounds. |
| (5) Afternoon debates and discussions for campers. |
| (6 ) The N.S.S. Unit of our college gave priority to water conservation & management. It has undertaken well-digging programme & constructed two wells at Chariv. |

(7 ) An unprecedented drive for collection of Fundswas received from people . Chariv Development Fund is collected for two Projects; (i) Constructional Projects (ii) Recreational Projects. |
| (8) Agricultural & Educational Projects have been undertaken at Ghotighar, near Shahapur,Dist. Thane, Adivasi Ashram School,Ghothighar.. |
